How Does Pottery Complete Its Journey From Earth to Art?

You can find the answer to this question and more while your group tours the St. Petersburg Clay Company, housed in the Historic Seaboard Train Station.

  • Learn about the 7 different styles of kilns on our property and how the different firing methods affect the finished artwork
  • Experience a throwing demonstration by one of our resident artists

(minimum $10 per group)

This affordable excursion is a great way to introduce your class or group to both the science and art of creating functional pottery and sculptures from clay.
